ThyssenKrupp Access, a leading manufacturer of stair lifts,
wheelchair lifts, and residential elevators, announces it
has formed two divisions, Accessibility and Residential Elevators.
“The formation of the two divisions will allow us to
continue to focus and dominate the Accessibility and Residential
Elevator markets by specializing in marketing, product development,
and sales programs," said Thomas Hance, president of
ThyssenKrupp Access. “We recognized that accessibility
products and residential elevators require separate strategy
and we are targeted at these two completely different markets.”
The change will enable ThyssenKrupp Access to sustain recent
growth it has experienced in home elevators. “Our residential
elevator product line has grown over 250% the past three years,”
commented Hance. In the upcoming months, ThyssenKrupp Access
will launch a new residential elevator marketing campaign
targeted at the custom and national home builder. “All
data indicates the thyssenkrupp elevator will be the next
‘must have’ home appliance across America. ThyssenKrupp
Access is positioning itself to handle the increased residential
elevator demand and to continue to be the leader in this market,”
said Hance.
